THERES A GIFT In every cruise
Is my third cruise. I am remembering why I came back. It wasn’t to be the best practitioner in the fleet. The best is measured by how much revenue a practitioner makes a week.
It’s not because I like to travel. I hardly get time ashore. After a sea day I am too tired to go anywhere or want to be around people.
It’s not because I missed working in a five star spa. I actually have to pay $31 dollars a day to be here. It comes our of my pay. I am only paid 15% of the revenue I make and I have to work hard to keep the 15% auto gratuity. A lot of guest like to take it off.
At the beginning of every cruise I hope for connection, a good laugh, memorable moments and things to be thankful for.
This past cruise, I met this beautiful family who one by one came to visit me in the spa. First the Father who then introduced me to his wife (who I thought was his beautiful girlfriend), who later introduced me to one of their sons.
This boy’s father shared with me this wise question,
‘What’s the meaning of life if you don’t know the secret?’.
I thought, this ‘being’, how precious, he speaks my language. In parables and philosophical phrases.
This young man’s father is a man who is thankful and aware of the power of stillness. He walk into my waiting room and says,
‘I’ll wait here patiently and pray’.
This young man, who this man raised... Is just as gentle, charismatic, peaceful and patient. Who tells a beautiful love story about his parents and has a family to prove it.
My gift this cruise, is this families reflection in the reflection of my own. The hardest thing about being at sea is being away from the family that make you laugh a lot. The kind of family you can’t wait to hangout with.
Thank you for cruising with us @patrick_nassar and family. You all radiate a deep since of compassion, joy and happiness. You made my third cruise unforgettable. I adore your family. See you in 7 months.

In the past year I could have been in the most vulnerable state of all time. Not the entire year but for a good part of it. You see, I’m an A-Type personality. I set high standards and goals. If you knew me personally you would think that I just want to do everything and that I’ve done just about everything.
Being vulnerable means not being able to carry out normal daily functions. (Which happens when we are experiencing period pain.
Being vulnerable is the most honest thing you can be. It means letting go and being ok with feeling the good and the bad and the not so cool and then...letting others see it too (uff tough for me).
When I hide or deny parts of my life, I’m not being honest with myself or other people.
When your cycle hits consider these tips: 1️⃣When others ask how you are, tell the truth
2️⃣Be honest with yourself
3️⃣Share your passions and your dreams
4️⃣ Set Boundaries and don’t be afraid to cry.
Sometimes that time of the month will do it to us. The more we learn about out body in the Menstural Attunement course the better we understand our power.🤷🏻♀️
Don’t walk away from your feelings, walk into the flow and the experience of it.
