Harvesting peppermint must be the most delightful career. I can only imagine what life would be like waking up to a cool breeze of peppermint dancing through my bedroom window. Ahhhhh. Mother nature is so good to us. Just how did she know that we would need something that would clear up a stuffy noes, or keep us cool on a hot summer night? Just how did she know that this plant would be the answer to our needs when our stomach is upset?
Peppermint is such a wonderful wonderful solution for adults, kids and pets. I use peppermint oil to relieve head discomfort and in my water when I'm out with friends. It keeps me awake naturally and it helps me remember the things on my to do list. Most of all it makes me feel less bloated and cooler throughout the day.
Here are a few other ways it can be used.
Use a drop of Peppermint with Lemon in water for a healthy, refreshing mouth rinse.
• Rub on the stomach or take internally for occasional digestive discomfort.
• Add a drop of Peppermint to your chocolate Trim Shake for a yummy twist.
• Rather than grabbing an unhealthy snack mid-afternoon, re-energize by applying Peppermint to the palms of hands and deeply inhaling.
