Over the past few weeks I’ve taken a little hiatus out to Starke Florida. While my purpose is to plant the seed among country folk, I got to sit back and breathe in some fresh air. With every person I met, I learned a new story that reflected a lesson to learn from.
For the first time in never I met a bunch of real hunters who rise before dawn craving the rush to bring fresh deer meat home.
There was something even more special about my visit. It’s the time of year I decided to go that reminded me
of how meaning full Chinese Medicine is.
We experience the same cycles that occur in nature. You see Autumn follows on the tail of the harvest, signaling that it is time to prepare for winter. The sap of trees settles into the interior, sinking down toward the roots.
With Fall comes a sense of gathering in, stocking up, harvest time, mingled with a sense of loss as the light begins to fade and the air chills. It is a time to eliminate what is unnecessary and become aware of what is essential.
Optimal health, a shift in consciousness and how we look at what out most valuable asset is reminds me how special we are to live in this life.
Teaching doctors what health is and how to achieve it.
Reducing the amount of medication and eating more organic, walking among the trees and spending time in community. Gathering, sharing, laughing and enjoying the very essence of life.
Power of Autumn and the Organ that Represents it
The organ system that shares the power of this season is the Lung. Corresponding to the temperament of autumn, the Lung pulls in and refines the Qi, (energy) sending it downward to nourish our roots.
The skin also a reflection of the Lung protects against external invasion and safeguards internal resources. Since Autumn is a dry season, we need to protect ourselves from cold air evaporation of moisture from our skin. Moistening, softening, and nurturing foods for this time include white rice, white beans, pears, radishes, sea vegetables, potatoes, cabbage, turnips and parsnips.
Breathe oil supports and promotes respiratory health giving the lungs something to be happy about.
Breathe is a remarkable blend of essential oils including Laurel Leaf, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Melaleuca, Lemon, Cardamom, Ravintsara, and Ravensara.
Diffuse, inhale directly from palms, or rub on chest or feet when seasonal and environmental threats are high.
Use when outdoors to minimize the effects of seasonal threats.
Diffuse at bedtime for a restful environment.
Over the past week I grew a little attached to a new fall blend. 3drops of Vetiver, 4 wintergreen and 3 sandalwood in my hand with coconut oil to assist in grounding my emotions and keeping me aware while meeting with so many people.
Essential oils in every home is my life goal. Only now are doctors and nurses paying a little more attention to what is replacing a lot of the toxic medication our country is dealing with. I believe Mother nature will
win the battle that we have all been confused about.

Say ‘Bye Falecia’ to seasonal threats and work with me.
