I go back and forth about staying on ships. Its a volatal decision should I stay or should I go. I mean, I give every guest the best I can. After all, I represent a medicine that works and want to share that message with the world. It’s no magic it’s not something new. Chinese medicine is real, it works and thousands of people around the world turn to Chinese Medicine everyday.
To my suprise, This week I had a guest complaint, and the first one ever. Something about pushy sales. Pushy sales is not my mojo. The offer is always on the table you can always take it or leave it. In this case the guest took what he could, cake and all but didn’t get away with it.
I never promise anything but I am confident that I can help most people in pain. It typically takes 1-5 treatments depending in the individual. Its never easy making everyone happy.
In the follow up, the guest didn’t feel that the first acupuncture treatment helped his concern. I sent him away with additional instructions and things to apply while he is away from the treatment table. Additionally I gave hime a complementary treatment.
Still unsatisfied, the complaint reach head office. My manager comes to me later in the day and says,
‘You received a guest complaint, but its ok’.
There will always be that one person who is unsatisfied, unhappy, disgruntled person in our life.
My friend Jessica would shake her head and say, ‘Something must have happened to them....’
I believe that everyone can be helped. I believe that the body has the ability to heal organically when it has the right tools. I also believe that what goes around comes around.
I prefer to not make anything about me, but instead make it about the other person. We never know what someone else is going through.
Wish them well, shake your head, say to yourself something must have happened to them and keep on living your best life. ✋🏿😃
So here I am on the island doing just that ready to make an even bigger difference next cruise.
