Since the start of the New Year I have been changing up my routine and adding more exercise in to my daily regime. One new excercise I’ve tried is kettle bell at TruFusion.

TruFusion is this new kind of fitness center and has been featured by Forbes Magazine. I can tell you why.

TruFusion doesn’t pay me to write this and I’m not selling you on a membership. If you are anything like me and you haven’t worked out in a while consistently, you have a lot going on and you’ve noticed a little more love around the midline of your body then you will love working out at TruFusion. They have all these new classes like Kettlebell. Most classes are barefoot, the instructors are so motivating and you guaranteed to sweat.

You can probably imagine my I have experience weakness and discomfort. Most days, there is nothing like having my oils to turn to. Afterward class I started applying  doTERRA Copaiba not really knowing what it would do for me other than knowing that it would enhance my Deep Blue oil and promote comfort the rest of the night. Every morning since I’ve been applying Copaiba I have noticed that I don’t feel as much discomfort as I had without applying this oil.

Copaiba has become my lifesaver!

Known for its soothing and supportive nature, I used a couple drops of Copaiba in a bath to relax my overworked muscles.

I enjoy the earthy toned essential oils and Copaiba has become a true favorite.

“Originating from the resin of the Copaiba tree found in South America, doTERRA Copaiba was introduced as a new oil in the fall of 2017.

The spicy and woodsy aroma combines well in a blend to personalize your fragrance. It can promote clear and smooth skin, support whole-body wellness, and calm the occasional *anxious feeling.”

Now I have two options Deep Blue and Copaiba when it come to dealing with discomfort.

I also recommended this to my friends who are having babies and experiencing boob discomfort. Since it doesn’t have menthol its safe for topical application. In fact Copaiba essential oil contain high levels of BCP, which is why it has such amazing benefits and more effective than CBD oil. doTERRA's Copaiba Essential Oil contains 55% BCP in each bottle. ... It's more effective than CBD because Copaiba contains BCP which interacts directly with the CB2 receptors.

Let me know what you think! I love receiving your comments.

Weekly Drop of Wisdom: One Herb That Change's Your Mood and Improves Digestion

When I’m using essential oils and Chinese Herbal Formulas, they are one in the same. The only difference is, one is an oil (the pure essence of a plant and the other is a dry form). Essential oils are aromatics. Though there are hundreds of them, there are several thousand Chinese Herbs. Chinese herbs are versatile. They can be combined with other herbs to make formulas like blending oils. One herb and essential oil that is found in many formulas to treat several kinds of conditions is an herb called Green Tangerine Peel.

In this blog I will share the difference between the Chinese method of use and the essential oil use.

Green Mandarin has strong actions of promoting flow of qi and soothing liver, breaking qi and dissipating nodulation, so it’s indicated for the treatment of syndrome of liver depression and qi stagnation. For liver qi stagnation due to emotional depression manifested as distending pain in hypochondrium, it is usually combined with the qi-moving and liver-soothing herbs. For breast swelling, hardness and distending pain, green tangerine peel is usually combined with Gua LouJu Ye and Si Gua Luo.

For swelling and pain due to acute mastitis, it is usually combined with the herbs for clearing heat and relieving toxicity, moving qi and dissipating nodulation. For colic of cold type, it is usually combined with the herbs for warming middle energizer and dispersing cold, moving qi and alleviating pain. You might notice that the essential oil has similar ways of promoting an uplifted mood and and supportive of digestive functions.

I like to put the spot light one of dōTERRA’s newest citrus oils, Green Mandarin. I love citrus oils, so you can image how excited I was to hear at Convention we are be adding a new one to our product line. One way I use my citrus oils is by diffusing them.

dōTERRA Green Mandarin is great for creating a soothing and uplifting environment when diffused.

Diffuse with Basil, Sandalwood, Lavender, or Spearmint to experience the positive emotional benefits of these essential oils.

Do you love the sweet smell of citrus fruits? dōTERRA Green Mandarin has a beautiful citrusy, yet slightly sweet and floral aroma that you’ll love. Green Mandarin is not only known for its citrusy scent, but for its soothing properties for the nervous system and can be supportive of healthy digestive function.*

Weekly Drop of Wisdom-Cederwood

Lately I’ve started working out.

Even though I feel better and look better, working out to achieve a health goal makes me anxious. In the past year I guess I have accomplished a lot of things.

In the past five months I’ve been restructuring my life’s intention. With more exams to take  in the new year, that level of anxiousness can start to accumulate.

I’m a perpetual thinker and do’er. Sitting still waiting for life to happen isn’t my thing.

I’ve been learning to just trust the process and be in the flow.

When really I’m asking myself, when is the ‘Flow’ going to Flow faster.

In the past two months I’ve been entering into a new career path.

Something I just made up. Corporate Flying Acupunturist aka Holistic CFA(Corporate Flight Attendant).

Over the past 10 years I’ve lived at sea on yachts and treated several people with Acupuncture. Now I’m ready to take this experience 50,000 feet.

This has never been done before.

I know without a doubt that biggest decision makers in the world are heavy thinkers and A type personalities.

According to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Acupuncture yields significant results that promote and improve sleep, pain and relaxation.

The toughest battle is getting my foot in the door when the industry values beauty over brains. 🧠

Most recently, I treated two die hard professionals privately. Being in practice has never felt so good.

I combine essential oils and Acupuncture 🎋using a specific protocol and technique that essentially floats one’s ‘Zen’ state to a different dimension.

Though, there are many things that promote relaxation, one thing I found that really helps me stay motivated, is dōTERRA’s Cedarwood essential oil.

I massage one to two drops onto my chest to help maintain vitality throughout my day. I see it work in my private clients from around the world.

Did you know that dōTERRA Cedarwood is a great oil for promoting relaxation? 🏖

With properties that help to soothe the mind and body, the warm, woody scent of Cedarwood essential oil 🌱can create a relaxing environment when used topically or aromatically.

Most all my protocols consist of a face up and face down treatment. When face down I include cedarwood essential oil to the spine as they fit the tongue and pulse diagnosis.

The easiest way to get this oil in your system is to diffuse it.

After a long day, diffuse to create a calming environment or apply one to two drops to the bottom of your child’s feet to help soothe and calm them when they wake up frightened.

Not only is it used to help you have feelings of calmness💆🏽‍♀️, it also helps keep your skin looking healthy.

I also use this oil as apart of my facial routine by adding one to two drops to your facial toner or moisturizer to promote clear, healthy looking skin. I believe looking 20 at 40 has a lot to do with the decreased stress levels by using essential oils, frequently meditating and using natures essence.

Be encouraged to take on 2019 by being in the flow with me.

In Love & Optimal Health,

Antonika Chanel🌺

Weekly Drop of Wisdom-Essential Steps to Oral Care

Many people dislike visiting their dentist, especially if they haven’t kept up with their brushing and flossing. Some even have dental anxiety and phobia. But there are other people who wish they could go yet can’t afford it. According to the CDC, 36% of adults have gone over a year without seeing a dentist. Prevention is cheaper than treatment.

What Spice Has A Long History of Culinary Use?

Cinnamon Bark apples.jpg

This week is the perfect time to celebrate all the gifts the earth has given us! One great gift from the earth is dōTERRA’s Cinnamon Bark essential oil. Cinnamon has a long history of culinary uses like, adding spice to desserts, entrees, and even hot drinks. That’s why it’s one of my favorite essential oils for the holiday season. (I probably say that with every essential oil)

Traditional Chinese Medicine uses Cinnamon (known as guÌ zhì) in about 10 patent formulas. This means that not only is cinnamon a great essential oil, but this herb has been use for thousands of years to improve immunity, head tension, menstrual support, increase sweeting, joint pain and digestion when used with other Chinese herbs.

What is Chinese medicine and how can it help me? I share with you in this short video what spleen qi deficiency is and how essential oils can help.

Cinnamon Bark is well known for its use as a spice. Did you know when taken internally, supports healthy metabolic function and helps maintain a healthy immune system, especially when seasonal threats are high. Place 1 drop of dōTerra Cinnamon essential oil in hot water or tea and drink slowly to soothe your irritated throat or add one drop to two ounces of water and gargle for an effective mouth rinse before heading to bed.

Below are some wonderful and creative ways to include dōTERRA Cinnamon Bark in your favorite holiday dishes:
