The word QiGong can be translated to mean life force practice or energy work; and can be done by anyone young or old. It is an art and science of cultivating once in her life force with the intention of healing and making the rest of our life the best of our life, to feel good and be happy.

Practicing QiGong brings balance not only to the physical body, but also strengthens our inner understanding. Practicing regularly promotes the free flow of energy or Qi throughout the human body by breaking through blockages within the meridians.  Meridians are pathways which Qi flows through.  This force travels with blood to every area of the body. Under normal conditions, the energy in our body is balanced and capable of maintaining the psychological functions. Due to environmental, emotional, and physical stress our energy maybe come stagnated are blocked. Stagnation leads to all types of problems if it is not corrected.

QiGong is one way to help bring back the flow we need. If Qi in the body is strong, it is difficult for pathogenic influences to affect it. If we do get attacked by these influences the abundance of Qi increases immunity and prevent disease from occurring.
